Haiti

The founder of Help for Orphans International (HFOI), Sarah Ehrlich, personally headed a team on a mission to Haiti where they delivered truckloads of school and art supplies, 500 tents, 14 truckloads of food, water filtration systems, medical supplies, clothing, school uniforms, shoes, soccer balls, and toys. Through her, HFOI received a contract through the World Food Program, a United Nations organization, to deliver food to orphanages in disadvantaged areas.

“After the earthquake that devastated Haiti on 12 January 2010, when the most vulnerable of the children in Haiti were in need, Help for Orphans International was there, on the ground, addressing those critical needs, and making a difference in the lives of so many orphans.”
