In Kisumu, Kenya, Help for Orphans International (HFOI) refurbished a school for orphans and continues to send school supplies. HFOI efforts also supplied running water for the first time to teachers and students, as well as hundreds of books and learning materials.
In a village outside of Kisiitown, Kenya, HFOI built a 10-room schoolhouse and provided books and learning materials. In addition, our team obtained cattle, dug a well, built beds, and now continues to educate the children and staff how to farm.
We are also pleased to recognize and thank People Reaching Out and its Founder Christina DeSimone for their generous contribution of a solar energy system to the Kisii school for orphans. We could not have completed the construction and insulation and solar panels at the Kisii school without the financial assistance of People Reaching Out.
